He chose his next opponent: Mike Tyson shocked with a statement after his defeat by Jake Paul

“Iron Mike” is not against having another fight in the boxing ring.

Former undisputed world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson unexpectedly announced after his defeat in the fight against popular blogger Jake Paul that he may continue his boxing career.

58-year-old “Iron Mike” suggested that in his next fight he could fight Jake's brother, 29-year-old podcaster, actor and wrestler Logan Paul, who also tried his hand at boxing.

“Who's my next opponent? You know, it might be Jake's brother, Logan Paul,” Tyson said.

Logan Paul, who was also in the ring at the time, jokingly replied, “If we fight, I'll kill you, Mike.”

Tyson's fight with Jake Paul lasted 8 rounds of two minutes, after which the judges unanimously gave the victory to the 27-year-old showman – 80:72, 79:73, 79:73. The fight had official status – the result was included in the statistics of both fighters.

We will add that initially Tyson and Paul were supposed to meet in the ring on July 20, but due to the deterioration of the health of “Iron Mike”, the fight was postponed.

For Tyson, this was the first official fight since 2005, when he lost by technical knockout to Irishman Kevin McBride. Now “Iron Mike” has 59 fights on his record: 50 wins (44 by knockout) and 7 losses. Two more fights were declared no contest.

Paul has 11 wins (7 by knockout) and one loss.

Earlier it was reported that Mike Tyson named the reason for his defeat from Jake Paul.
