At the start of the second half, the Portuguese club reduced the deficit thanks to the efforts of Goncalo Inacio, but the Gunners responded with two goals of their own – Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard scored.
Ukrainian defender of the Gunners Oleksandr Zinchenko entered the field in the 78th minute, replacing Riccardo Calafiori.

Thanks to this victory, Arsenal with 10 points up to seventh place in the overall standings of the main round of the Champions League. Sporting also has 10 points and is in eighth place.
In the next round of the most prestigious European Cup, Arsenal will host Monaco on December 11, and Sporting will play away against Brugge the day before.
The eight best teams of the main stage of the Champions League will reach the 1/8 finals. The clubs that take places from 9th to 24th in the overall standings will play paired play-off matches for a place in the 1/8 finals. The rest will finish their performance in European cups.
