The Magpies managed to snatch a draw in the final minutes of a high-scoring match.
“Liverpool” drew away with “Newcastle” in the match of round 14 of the English Premier League (EPL) of the 2024/25 season. The match at the St James' Park stadium in Newcastle ended with a score of 3:3.
In the 35th minute, the home team's forward Alexander Isaac opened the scoring. At the start of the second half, the “Reds” bounced back – in the 50th minute, Curtis Jones made an accurate strike.
In the 62nd minute, Anthony Gordon again put Newcastle ahead. Arne Sloth's men responded to this with a double from Mohamed Salah, who scored in the 68th and 83rd minutes.
However, at the end of the match, Eddie Howe's team managed to save itself from defeat. In the 90th minute, Fabian Schär brought the Magpies a draw.
