Ukraine was not represented in the women's mass start race in Kontiolahti.
On Sunday, December 8, the first stage of the 2024/25 Biathlon World Cup in Kontiolahti, Finland ended with the women's mass start.
No one from Ukraine was able to qualify for this race. Unlike the men's mass start, where three of our compatriots competed today.
The first women's mass start of the World Cup season was won by Sweden's Elvira Oeberg. Second place went to France's Julia Simon, and the top three was rounded out by Germany's Franziska Preuss.

Note that the second stage of the new Biathlon World Cup season will be held in Hochfilzen, Austria, on December 13-15.
