“Kryvbas” defeated “Karpaty” in the home match of the 17th round of the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL)season 2024/25. The match at the Gornyak stadium in Kryvyi Rih ended with a score of 2:0.
In the first half, the hosts opened the scoring in the 27th minute – Hrvoje Ilic converted the penalty.
In the second half, Yuriy Vernydub's team doubled their advantage – in the 69th minute, Yegor Tverdokhlib set the final score in the game.
Review of the match “Kryvbas” – “Karpaty”
After this victory, Kryvbas (31 points) continues to occupy fourth place in the UPL and has reduced the gap with third-placed Shakhtar (33 points), which has played one match less. Karpaty with 24 points are in sixth position.
In the next round of the UPL, which will take place after the winter break, Kryvbas will host Veres, and Lviv will play away against Dynamo. The base date for the matches of the 18th round of the elite division of the Ukrainian championship is February 22, 2025.
