This probably happened after one of the matches of the Ukrainian national team.
London Chelsea midfielder Mykhailo Mudrik tested positive for doping after a match for the Ukrainian national team in November.
This was reported by the authoritative publication The Athletic, citing numerous sources who wish to remain anonymous, as they do not have the right to speak publicly about this matter.
The source also confirms that the banned drug meldonium was found in the 23-year-old footballer's body.
In November, the Ukrainian national team drew with Georgia (1:1) and defeated Albania (2:1) in the Nations League. Mudrik took part in both matches, and scored an assist in the match against the Georgians.
It is noted that for violating the anti-doping rules of the English Football Association (FA), the Ukrainian may face a four-year disqualification, although mitigating factors may reduce this period to two years to a month.

Recall that on the night of December 17, it became known that Mudryk had tested positive for doping. A prohibited substance was found in the footballer's “A” sample.
Sample “B” is expected to be opened in the coming days. After that, it will become clear whether Mudryk faces disqualification and, if so, how long it will be.
This season, Mudryk has played 15 matches for Chelsea in all competitions, scoring three goals and making five assists.
The last time Mudryk was included in the Chelsea squad was on December 1 for the Premier League match against Aston Villa, which he spent on the bench. Since then, Mykhailo has been left out of his team's squad for four matches in a row. The head coach of the London club, Enzo Maresca, reported that the Ukrainian was ill.
