 Biathlon: Results of the women's mass start at the World Cup stage in Annecy

This was the last race of the Biathlon World Cup in 2024.

On Sunday, December 22, the third stage of the 2024/25 Biathlon World Cup in Annecy-Le Grand-Bornand, France, closed with the women's mass start.

Ukraine was represented in it only by Yulia Dzhyma, who finished in 18th place positions.

Another of our compatriots, Kristina Dmitrenko, who managed to qualify for the mass start, did not take part in the start due to illness.

The mass start was won by German Selina Grothian, for whom this was the first victory in her career in individual Biathlon World Cup races. Second place went to another German, Franziska Preuss. The bronze was dramatically won in the last meters of the distance by Slovakian Paulina Batovska-Fialkova.

We note that earlier today in Annecy there was a men's mass start, where two Ukrainians finished in the top -20.

This concludes the 2024 Biathlon World Cup races. After the Christmas and New Year break, the fourth stage of the current season will be held in Oberhof, Germany, from January 9 to 12, 2025.
