Fury assessed the defeat to Usyk in the rematch and answered whether he is going to end his career

The “Gypsy King” does not know whether he will return to the ring.

Former world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury spoke about the defeat in the rematch against the holder of the WBC, WBA, WBO and IBO titles Oleksandr Usyk.

At the post-fight press conference, the 36-year-old Briton was asked if he felt the Ukrainian's punches. The “Gypsy King” replied that Usyk never hurt him in the rematch.

“Not really, to be honest. He never hurt me in this fight. I got a few fresh cuts, but they'll heal in two or three days, so there won't be any marks left on me. I know what happened, and that's it. I'll just go home. There's not much I can say or do now,” Fury said.

Fury also commented on his plans for the future. Tyson does not yet know whether he will return to the ring.

“What's next for me? I'm going home and resting. Will you see me in the ring again? Maybe you will, maybe you won't, who knows. We'll talk about it next year,” said the “Gypsy King”.

On the night of December 22, Fury lost to Usyk in the main fight of the boxing evening in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, by unanimous decision (three times 112-116). The Briton failed to take revenge on the Ukrainian for the defeat in the first fight and take away his WBA, WBO, WBC and IBO heavyweight titles.

Now the “Gypsy King” has two defeats (both from Usyk) in the professional ring. He also has 34 wins (24 by knockout) and one draw.

Earlier it was reported that Fury did not admit defeat to Usyk, saying that he was unfairly judged. Alexander has already reacted to this statement by the British boxer.
