 Usyk predicted the winner of the possible fight between Fury and Joshua

The Ukrainian considers AJ the favorite in the fight with the “Gypsy King”.

The holder of the WBC, WBO, WBA and IBO heavyweight titles Oleksandr Usyk shared his thoughts on a possible fight between former champions Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.

The Ukrainian boxer believes that AJ will win the potential fight between the Britons. He is leaning towards Joshua's triumph by a judge's decision.

“Maybe Anthony Joshua (will win if they fight – ed.). By knockout or on points? I don't know. Maybe on points. I don't know,” Usyk said in an interview with Boxing King Media.

During his career, Usyk has fought Joshua and Fury twice. Both of them ended in victories for the Ukrainian by judges' decision.

Usyk vs. Fury rematch: fight results

On the night of December 22, Usyk won in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) Fury won by unanimous decision (three times 116-112) and defended his WBA, WBO, WBC and IBO heavyweight titles.

Fury did not admit defeatfrom Usyk, disagreeing with the judges' verdict. The Ukrainian boxer reacted categorically to these words of the “Gypsy King”, stating that he had won a well-deserved victory.

Unlike the first fight, in the Usyk-Fury rematch the title of absolute world champion was not at stake, since Alexander had previously refused the IBF title. Now it is owned by the Briton Daniel Dubois, who has already managed to defend it by knocking out his compatriot Anthony Joshua.

Recall that on the night of May 19, 2024, Usyk defeated Fury by split decision in a fight for the title of absolute world heavyweight champion. At the end of the ninth round, Alexander knocked his opponent down.

Usyk became the first absolute world heavyweight champion in the 21st century and the first in history “absolute” heavyweight with four main titles – WBO, WBA, IBF and WBC.
