Usyk reacts to Fury and his promoter's words about unfair judging in the rematch

Usyk responded to Fury and his promoter's words about unfair judging in the rematch

The Ukrainian boxer is convinced that he won a deserved victory.

The holder of the WBA, WBO, WBC and IBO heavyweight titles Oleksandr Usyk held a press conference after his victory over Tyson Fury in the rematch.

In particular, the Ukrainian boxer asked to comment on the words of the “Gypsy King” and his promoter Frank Warren, who did not agree with the judges' verdict in favor of Usyk.

Alexander firmly stated that he has no doubts about the fairness of his victory.

– Tyson Fury said that this victory is a Christmas present to you from the judges. And Frank Warren said that he does not understand how Tyson could be given only 4 rounds.

– Uncle Frank is just blind. If Tyson says that this is a Christmas present – ok. Thank God, but not Tyson. Thank my coach Yuri, my coach Kuba and my team.

Listen, Frank is a crazy man. This is my opinion. I won, – Usyk said.

Usyk defeated Fury by unanimous decision. Following 12 rounds, all three referees declared the Ukrainian boxer's triumph: 116-112, 116-112, 116-112.

Thus, Usyk defended his WBA, WBO, WBC and IBO heavyweight world titles.

Unlike the first fight, the Usyk-Fury rematch did not involve the title of absolute world champion, since Alexander had previously renounced the IBF title. Now it is owned by the Briton Daniel Dubois, who has already managed to defend it by knocking out his compatriot Anthony Joshua.

Recall that on the night of May 19, 2024, Usyk defeated Fury by split decision in a fight for the title of absolute world heavyweight champion. At the end of the ninth round, Alexander knocked his opponent down. The Ukrainian became the first absolute world heavyweight champion in the 21st century.
