"Everton" appoints new head coach: who will work with Mykolenko

David Moyes returns as coach of the "Toffees" 12 years after his departure.

Everton have appointed David Moyes as the team's head coach.

This was reported on the official website of the “toffees”.

The terms and conditions of the contract with the 61-year-old Scottish specialist have not been disclosed.

As the coach of the Merseyside club, Moyes replaced Sean Dyche, who was sacked on January 9.

David had previously worked with the “toffees” from 2002 to 2013. After that, he managed Manchester United, Real Sociedad, Sunderland and West Ham.

Everton features Ukrainian defender Vitaliy Mykolenko, who has played 19 matches for the English club in all competitions this season.

Everton currently sit 16th in the Premier League, with 17 points after 19 matches played. The Toffees are just one point above the relegation zone.

The Merseysiders will play their next match on January 15 at home against Aston Villa in the Premier League.
