None of the Ukrainians finished in the qualifying zone.

On Wednesday, January 15, the fifth stage of the 2024/25 Biathlon World Cup in Ruhpolding, Germany, started with the men's individual race.

Ukraine was represented by four biathletes: Vitalii Mandzyn, Bohdan Tsymbal, Anton Dudchenko and Dmytro Pidruchnyi.

None of the Ukrainians finished in the qualifying zone. Mandzyn took 55th place, Tsymbal – 74th, Dudchenko – 76th, and Pidruchnyi – 98th, which is the worst result in his career.

The race was won by Norwegian Vebjorn Soerum. Second place went to Frenchman Emilien Claude, and third place went to Latvian Andrejs Rastorguevs.

The stage in Ruhpolding will continue on Thursday, January 16, with the women's individual race, which will start at 15:10 Kyiv time.
