The “blue-yellows” managed to avoid penalty loops, using a total of eight extra rounds. As a result, our team finished first, 16.7 seconds ahead of the Czechs. Poland rounded out the top three.

This is Ukraine's third medal at the 2025 Winter Universiade and its second gold. Earlier, Bohdan Borkovskyi won gold in the men's short individual race, and Darina Chalyk became a bronze medalist in the same women's discipline.
In the overall medal standings of the 2025 Winter Universiade, the Ukrainian team moved up three notches and is now in sixth place.
