On Sunday, February 2, the last competition day of the 2025 European Biathlon Championships in Martel Val Martello, Italy, the women's relay took place.
The Ukrainian team was represented by Iryna Petrenko, Olena Gorodnaya, Oleksandra Merkushinaand Kristina Dmitrenko. The “blue-yellows” finished in eighth position.
During the race, the Ukrainians used a total of 17 extra rounds – the most among all teams. In addition, in the third stage, the “blue-yellows” also had a penalty lap.
The German team won the women's relay. France won “silver”, and Italy won “bronze”.

Today, the continental biathlon championship will end with the men's relay, which will begin at 14:45 Kyiv time. Artem Tyshchenko, Vitaliy Mandzyn, Anton Dudchenko and Taras Lesyuk will run for the Ukrainian national team.
The European Championships will precede the main start of the biathlon season – the World Championships, which will be held in Lenzerheide, Switzerland from February 12 to 23.
