Ukrainian tennis player Dajana Yastremska (No. 72 WTA) lost in the final of the WTA 500 tournament in Linz, Austria.
In the decisive match for the title, the 24-year-old native of Odessa lost to the “neutral” Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova (No. 30 WTA).
The match lasted 2 hours and 13 minutes and ended with a score of 2:6, 6:3, 5:7.
During the time spent on the court, Yastremska made 3 aces, made 8 double faults and converted 4 out of 5 break points.
This was the sixth face-to-face meeting between the tennis players. Three of these matches were won by the Ukrainian, the other three by the athlete from the aggressor state.
