Ekaterina Tabashnik managed to clear 1.93 meters.

Ukrainian high jumper Ekaterina Tabashnik became the champion of the Continental Tour stage in Trzynec, Czech Republic.

The 30-year-old Ukrainian won with a result of 1.93 meters. She cleared the bar at this height on her first attempt, setting a new personal best for the current season.

After that, Kateryna tried to jump 1.96 meters, but she was unable to do so.

The silver medal in the competition was won by Japanese Nagisha Takahashi (1.88 meters), and the bronze was won by Australian Erin Shaw (1.84 meters).

Another Ukrainian, Yulia Chumachenko, came in 11th with a result of 1.80 meters. This was her first start this season.

Thus, Tabashnik has reached the podium in all three starts of the new season. Earlier, she won the Demjanjuk Memorial in Lviv with a result of 1.91 meters, and also became a bronze medalist at the World Athletics Gold Series tournament in Belgrade, Serbia, clearing a height of 1.90 meters.

Recall that in August 2022, Kateryna Tabashnik's mother died as a result of Russian shelling of a residential building in Kharkov.
