Len returned to Washington as part of a three-way swap

The Ukrainian center previously played for Washington in the 2020/21 season

Sacramento Kings Ukrainian center Alexey Len has been acquired by the Memphis Grizzlies as part of a three-way trade that also involved the Washington Wizards.

The Ukrainian became part of the deal to send Marcus Smart from Memphis to Washington. Sacramento also sent Memphis a second-round pick in 2028, and in addition to Len, Washington also received Colby Jones from the Kings. Sacramento, in turn, received James LaRavia.

Earlier in the career of 31-year-old Len, there was a period of playing for Washington in the 2020/21 season.

Since 2021, the Ukrainian center has defended the colors of Sacramento. This season, Alexey took part in 36 matches, averaging 1.4 points, 1.8 rebounds and 0.8 assists.
