The Ukrainian team in ski acrobatics won the first medal this season of the World Cup. Dmitry Kotovsky became the silver medalist of the fourth stage, which took place in the American Dirwelli.
Due to adverse weather conditions, the organizers canceled the finals, therefore the qualifications immediately determined the participants of the super final. Kotovsky was selected to the superfinals with the third result – 99.63 points.
In the superfinals, Kotovsky successfully completed a triple somersault with four screws, receiving an assessment of 115.49 points.
This result became The second among all participants. “Gold” was won by the American Quin Delinger (122.57 points), and “Bronze” was won by another US representative – Christopher Lillis (104.43 points).
In addition to Kotovsky, five more Ukrainian freestylers participated in the competition, the best result among whom was shown by Maxim Kuznetsov, who took ninth place (93.06 points).

This medal became the second for Kotovsky at the level of the World Cup in Dir-Well. It was at this stage that he first successfully completed the Hurricane crown jump.
This podium became the sixth for Dmitry at the World Cup in ski acrobatics. The highest results in his career are the victories in Dirwelli, as well as in Engadin in March 2023.
The next stage of the World Cup in Ski Acrobatics will be held in Chinese Baidaihe on February 23-24. In addition to single competitions, the team tournament will also be held at the stage.
