Former world champion Lawrence Okolie believes Daniel Dubois can defeat Oleksandr Usyk in a rematch.
“Whenever I say Usyk will lose, he does the opposite. It happened many times, after the first fight with Joshua, Fury… If Alexander is not affected by his age, then he should be the favorite, but this version of Duwub is capable of going out and beating Usyk,” Okolie said.
Dubois will defend his IBF belt against New Zealander Joseph Parker on February 22.
In 2023, Dubois lost by knockout to Usyk in the 9th round. In the 5th round, Dubois clearly hit below the belt, and Usyk took a long time to recover.
