The best result among Ukrainians in pursuit was shown by Dmytro Pidruchnyi.
On Saturday, March 8, the seventh stage of the 2024/25 Biathlon World Cup in Nove Mesto, Czech Republic, continued with the men's pursuit race.
Ukraine was represented by three biathletes: Dmytro Pidruchnyi (35th starting position in the sprint ), Vitaliy Mandzyn (38th) and Anton Dudchenko (57th).
The best result among Ukrainians in the pursuit was shown by Pidruchnyi, who finished 36th. Mandzyn also made it into the scoring zone, finishing 39th. Dudchenko finished the race 49th, not scoring any points.
The Swedish biathlete Sebastian Samuelsson won the race. Italian Tommaso Giacomel climbed to second place on the podium, and Norwegian Johannes Bjo rounded out the top three.

Let us add that today in Nove Mesto there will also be a women's pursuit race, where two Ukrainians will compete: Yulia Dzhima and Kristina Dmitrenko, who will start 24th and 25th, respectively. The start is at 18:40 Kyiv time.
The stage in Nove Mesto will end on Sunday, March 9, with classic relays.
