Dynamo drew with Luhansk Zorya in the match of the 21st round of the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL) of the 2024/25 season. The match at the Valeriy Lobanovskyi Stadium in Kyiv ended with a score of 2:2 .
The guests unexpectedly opened the scoring in the 2nd minute of the match – Filipp Budkovsky scored.
In the 5th minute, the “white-blues” got even thanks to a precise strike by Vladislav Vanat. However, already in the 9th minute, Brazilian Jordan again put the Luhansk club ahead.
In the second half, Oleksandr Shovkovskiy's team managed to equalize the score and avoid defeat – in the 71st minute, 19-year-old Matvey Ponomarenko, who came on as a substitute immediately after the break, scored.
Review of the match “Dynamo” – “Zarya”
For Dynamo, this is already the second loss of points in 2025; at the end of February, the Kiev team failed to beat Vorskla (1:1).
The White-Blues continue to lead the UPL and are now 4 points ahead of Oleksandria, while Shakhtar, which is in third place with two games in hand, is 11 points ahead.
Zorya remained in sixth place in the elite division of the Ukrainian championship, with 29 points and a game in hand.
In the next round of the UPL, which will take place after the international break, Dynamo will play away against Rukh on March 29, and Zorya will meet Kolos a day later.
