Ukrainian midfielder of Genoa Ruslan Malinovskyi helped his club defeat Lecce in the home match of the 29th round of the Italian Serie A of the 2024/25 season. The meeting at the Luigi Ferraris stadium in Genoa ended with a score of 2:1 .
The 31-year-old Ukrainian was in the starting lineup for the Griffins for the first time since September last year, when he suffered a serious injury.
In the 16th minute of the match, Malinovskyi made his first effective move after returning to the field – he made a spectacular throw into the penalty area to Fabio Miretti, who sent the ball into the goal on the fly.
