Head coach of the Ukrainian national team Serhiy Rebrov made one change to the list of players called up for the playoff matches against Belgium for the right to play in the elite division of the next Nations League .
As reported by the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) on its official Telegram channel, American Austin defender Oleksandr Svatok was transferred from the reserve list to the main one.
30-year-old Svatok replaced the defender of the English “Plymouth” Maksim Taloverov in the national team, who will miss the March training camp due to injury. Alexander has already joined the camp of the “blue-yellows”.
Ukraine's matches against Belgium are scheduled for March 20 and 23. The first meeting will be nominally home for the “blue-yellows” and will take place in Murcia, Spain, while the return match will be hosted by Genk, Belgium.
The winner of the two-match confrontation between Ukraine and Belgium will receive a place in the most prestigious Division A of the League of Nations. The team that loses will play the next tournament in Division B.
