Ukrainian national team striker Artem Dovbyk may miss the first playoff match for the right to play in the elite division of the next Nations League against the Belgian team.
The head coach of the “blue-yellows” Sergei Rebrov announced this during a press conference on the eve of the match.
“Dovbyk? Yes, unfortunately, Artem came yesterday with a high temperature, he has an infection. Our doctors are doing everything possible and impossible. We'll see tomorrow, but today he is not training with the general group,” Rebrov said.
The Ukraine vs. Belgium match will take place on Thursday, March 20, in Murcia, Spain, at the Nueva Condomina stadium. The starting whistle will sound at 21:45 Kyiv time.
