According to the Financial Times, Formula 1 owner Liberty Media is planning to buy the MotoGP motorcycle racing world championship.
Currently, commercial rights to MotoGP belong to the international company Dorna Sports SL, which Liberty Media is planning to buy for 4 billion euros.
The deal is rumored to be close to completion, but could attract interest from antitrust authorities.
