In the return match of the 1/2 final of the Spanish Cup, Real Madrid managed to get past Real Sociedad in extra time.

The visitors opened the scoring early in the game: Ander Barrenechea found himself in a good position and shot right between the legs of the Blancos' Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin. But before the break, Carlo Ancelotti's team managed to equalize thanks to the efforts of Brazilian Hendrik.

In the middle of the second half, Real Sociedad took the lead again – after a cross from the flank, the ball was cut into his own net by David Alaba, and a few minutes later the visitors were aiming for a sensation when Mikel Oyarzabal scored a third goal. But the Real players quickly recovered and managed to equalize the score before the end of the regular time: accurate strikes by Jude Bellingham and Aurelien Chouameni guaranteed them a draw. And already in stoppage time, Oyarzabal scored a double and again shocked the Madrid fans, transferring the game to extra time.

In the second extra time, Antonio Rüdiger, who came on from the bench, brought Real a ticket to the main match of the Spanish Cup.

Real's Ukrainian goalkeeper played the entire game. It was his 12th match for the Madrid team this season in all competitions.
