Warren advises Joyce to finish with a side

Promoter Frank Warren has advised Joe Joyce to seriously consider ending his career to avoid damaging his health after his loss to Filip Hrgovic.

“Joe needs to think seriously about his future. I know he'll want to keep fighting, he'll want another fight. But he needs to talk to his family and think about the future. It's going to be tough for Joyce to get back in the ring.”

“But if he decides to continue, I will support him. However, at this age, you should already think about the consequences of these fights and your health,” Warren said.

Joyce, 39, suffered his fourth defeat in 20 professional fights.
