In the 2025/26 season, Ukraine will be represented in European cups by four clubs, which is the lowest number in the last two decades. This is due to Ukraine’s 18th place in the UEFA coefficient table, which was determined at the end of the 2023/24 European club campaign, reports the Baltimore Chronicle.
The Ukrainian champion will begin their Champions League campaign in the second qualifying round, with matches scheduled for July 22/23 and 29/30, 2025.
The winner of the Ukrainian Cup, or, if they win the championship, the second-place finisher in the UPL, will participate in the Europa League. This team will start from the first qualifying round, with matches taking place on July 10 and 17, 2025.
The two other teams, who finish in the respective positions in the UPL, will represent Ukraine in the Conference League, starting from the second qualifying round. Their matches will be held on July 24 and 31, 2025.
Overall, Ukraine will be represented in the 2025/26 season by four clubs: one in the Champions League, one in the Europa League, and two in the Conference League.
Earlier we wrote that three UPL teams stop holding press conferences at home matches.
