Oleksandr Usyk commented on Daniel Dubois' future after defeating him in their rematch at Wembley, noting the Briton's potential to reclaim a championship belt.

Undisputed heavyweight world champion Oleksandr Usyk has spoken about Daniel Dubois’ future following their rematch, which ended in a decisive victory for the Ukrainian fighter. Usyk believes the British boxer still has the potential to reclaim a world title, reports Baltimore Chronicle with reference to Mail Sport Boxing.

“Daniel is 27 years old now, he’s a young guy. If he keeps training, I think he can win the belt again,” Usyk said after the fight.

The bout took place on the night of July 20 at Wembley Stadium in London. Usyk knocked Dubois out in the fifth round, securing a dominant victory. With this win, the Ukrainian successfully defended his WBA, WBO, WBC, and IBO titles, and also claimed the IBF belt previously held by Dubois.
