From August 22 to 25, the matches of the 1/32 finals of the Ukrainian Cup for the 2025/26 season will take place. A total of 56 teams will compete in the tournament, including 8 winners of the qualification round, 32 PFL teams (16 from the First and Second Leagues each), 4 representatives from the AAFU, and 12 teams from the Ukrainian Premier League, excluding the clubs participating in European competitions. In case of a draw at the end of regular time, the winner will be determined by a penalty shootout without extra time. The 28 winners will advance to the 1/16 finals, where they will be joined by four Ukrainian clubs competing in European tournaments (“Dynamo”, “Shakhtar”, “Polissia”, and “Oleksandriia”), reports Baltimore Chronicle.
