Apple held its autumn presentation, unveiling the new AirPods Pro 3 with real-time translation and a range of other devices, including the iPhone 17 in five colors: Space Black, Silver, Blue, Pink, and Green, reports Baltimore Chronicle with reference to the company’s sources. The event also announced updates for the iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, the standard iPhone 17, and three Apple Watch models.
The new AirPods Pro 3 allow users to speak through the earbuds, while the built-in translator instantly renders the phrase in the listener’s native language. The device is equipped with artificial intelligence and, according to Apple, features “the best noise cancellation in the history” of the lineup. The fifth-generation water resistance allows for swimming in a pool. Additionally, the AirPods Pro 3 include a built-in heart rate monitor, positioning them as a fitness accessory. The price is set at $249 (approximately 10,250 UAH at the rate of 41.2 UAH/USD), with sales beginning on September 19, 2025.
The standard iPhone 17 comes in five colors and is almost identical in design to the iPhone 16 but now features a larger 6.3-inch display compared to 6.1 inches and supports a 120Hz refresh rate, previously exclusive to Pro models. It is powered by the A19 chip and an improved 24-megapixel front camera, but there are no major changes compared to its predecessor.
The iPhone 17 Air is the thinnest Apple smartphone to date, measuring only 5.5 mm. It features a 6.6-inch display with ProMotion technology (120Hz) and the A19 chip. To achieve such compactness, some features were limited: it has a single 48-megapixel rear camera and a 2800 mAh battery. It is likely the device will not support physical SIM cards.
The iPhone 17 Pro models received a significant redesign. The titanium frame has been replaced with aluminum for better heat dissipation, and the camera module is now rectangular, covering almost the entire width of the device. Inside, it features the A19 Pro chip, 12 GB of RAM, and an upgraded cooling system with a vapor chamber. Camera upgrades include a 24 MP front camera, 48 MP telephoto lens, and simultaneous front and rear shooting capability.
The presentation also showcased three Apple Watch models. The Series 11 features a brighter display and the new S11 chip. The flagship Apple Watch Ultra 3 supports 5G, satellite connectivity for emergency messaging, and possibly a blood pressure measurement feature. The budget SE 3 model comes with a modern design and slimmer display bezels.
