The wait is over, as Spotify has released its highly anticipated 2025 Wrapped, offering fans a comprehensive review of their year in music, podcasts, and audiobooks, reports Baltimore Chronicle with reference to Spotify. Launched in its current form in 2015, Spotify Wrapped has evolved annually to reflect feedback from listeners worldwide, with each edition more immersive and personalized than the last.

To access the 2025 Wrapped experience, users must have streamed a minimum of 30 songs for at least 30 seconds each and listened to at least five different artists throughout the year. Streams in Private Mode or from excluded tracks or playlists are not counted toward eligibility. The feature is available to both Free and Premium users in nearly all markets where Spotify operates and can be accessed through the Spotify mobile app for iOS and Android. Users should ensure their app is updated and navigate to the Wrapped feed at the top of the Home screen or search “2025 Wrapped.”

This year’s Wrapped includes familiar fan favorites as well as nearly a dozen new features that allow users to explore their listening history in depth. Interactive elements transform listening data into shareable moments, and new controls allow users to adjust the pace of the experience or revisit specific stories without restarting. Personalized stories are based on each user’s listening habits throughout the year. Share cards let users easily send their Wrapped data via Spotify Messages or post them on social media platforms.

Returning features include total minutes listened across music, podcasts, and audiobooks; top five songs of the year with streaming counts for the top 100 tracks; top artists and genres; personalized artist clips from names such as Bad Bunny, Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, and sombr; top podcasts; and a “Your Top Songs 2025” playlist. New features include Listening Age, which compares a user’s music preferences to peers; a Top Song Quiz; Top Albums revisited throughout the year; top audiobook genres and individual book highlights; author clips from writers like Dan Brown, James Patterson, and Abby Jimenez; podcaster clips featuring creators such as Steven Bartlett, Mel Robbins, and Amy Poehler; Top Artist Sprint visualizing monthly ranking changes; Fan Leaderboard showing global fan rankings; Clubs highlighting distinct listening patterns; and a Listening Archive that generates up to five AI-powered reports on memorable streaming days.

Additionally, Spotify introduces Wrapped Party, an interactive live experience allowing users to celebrate music with friends. This feature is accessible at the end of the personalized Wrapped journey or in the Wrapped hub of the Spotify app by searching “Wrapped Party.”

The Wrapped feed at the top of the Home screen serves as a hub for personalized stories, Spotify editor-curated “Best of” playlists, and special messages from artists, podcasters, and authors. Physical activations are also planned, with approximately 50 pop-up experiences across major cities featuring artists such as Oasis in Manchester, JENNIE in Seoul, Bad Bunny in Mexico City, and Chappell Roan in New York City.

Spotify provides tailored Wrapped experiences for artists, songwriters, podcasters, authors, and advertisers via individualized Wrapped microsites, giving them insights into fan engagement over the year. 2025 Wrapped reflects each user’s personal listening journey, offering unique stories and interactive ways to celebrate their year in audio. Users can explore the 2025 Wrapped hub for full access to features and campaign highlights.
