The Russian Federation once again struck Kharkov on the evening of Saturday, December 30. Residential buildings and a hotel were damaged in the city.

According to Terekhov, the Russians struck the city 16 times. As a result of the Russian strike, civilian infrastructure was damaged: a medical institution, apartment buildings, shops and other public places, and transport.

“The occupiers struck the central part of the city of Kharkov. There is damage to civilian infrastructure,” the head of the OVA said in a statement.

Terekhov later said that 16 victims were known. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties. However, 5 people were hospitalized.

“The State Emergency Service and the police are working. Rescuers provided pre-medical care to 7 people, 2 of whom were children. Among the victims was a journalist from the UK. Emergency responders and police also evacuated 8 people from the damaged house, handing them over to doctors and psychologists,” said the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Games, Klimenko. .

According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, 20 people were injured as a result of an enemy attack on the center of Kharkov, including children and a foreigner.

“Prosecutors, in cooperation with police investigators, are taking all measures to document war crimes committed by representatives of the armed forces of the aggressor state,” the statement said.

Kharkiv Palace Hotel was damaged

The five-star Kharkiv Palace hotel was damaged by a missile attack. It is located on Pravdy Avenue, 2 in the central part of the city and opened on December 15, 2011.

The hotel has 171 rooms, three restaurants, large conference rooms.

According to Terekhov, there were two powerful explosions in the city center – these were S-300 missiles fired from the Belgorod region.

“One rocket flew into a hotel, the second hit a residential building, also in the center,” Terekhov said.

As of 21.00, two people were reported injured in a hotel in the center of Kharkov. One of them is a foreign journalist, he has debris wounds to his chest. A woman was also wounded. Both were hospitalized.

Getting to other areas of the city

According to the head of the GUNP in the Kharkov region, Alexander Timoshko, three hits by Russian missiles were also recorded in the Industrial District. Everything goes to the ground. According to him, there were no injuries as a result of these attacks.

Another hit destroyed a kindergarten, and nearby residential buildings were damaged by the blast wave.

According to the Ministry of Health, as a result of the shelling, the premises of three medical institutions in the city were damaged.
