Rescuers found the bodies of two more victims of a missile attack on Kyiv on December 29.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Telegram channels of Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko and KGVA.

The mayor of the capital announced the discovery of another body of a deceased person under the rubble of a warehouse in the Shevchenko district.

“The body of another victim was recovered by rescuers from under the rubble of a warehouse in the Shevchenko district. Currently, the number of victims of the attack on the capital on December 29 is 18,” Klitschko said.

At the same time, the head of the KGVA Sergei Popko claims that the death toll is 19 people.

“Two more dead. The total is already 19! Rescuers continue to find victims of the Russian missile attack. The search and rescue operation continues around the clock,” Popko wrote.

Russian attack on Kyiv on December 29

On the night of December 28-29, Russian troops launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine, firing about 160 missiles of various types. In the skies over Kiev, Ukrainian air defense shot down more than 30 enemy targets.

Initially, 17 casualties were reported as a result of the attack. That figure later rose to 28. Three deaths were also confirmed.
