Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine by the morning of Monday, January 1, amounted to 780 occupiers. The total number of Russian army losses since the beginning of the invasion is about 360,010 military personnel. In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 6 tanks, 17 armored fighting vehicles and 18 enemy artillery systems.

The enemy's total combat losses from 02/24/22 to 01/01/24 were approximately:
- personnel – about 360,010 (+780) people were liquidated;
- tanks – 5983 (+6) units;
- armored combat vehicles – 11087 (+17) units;
- artillery systems – 8482 (+18) units;
- MLRS – 943 units;
- Air defense systems – 625 (+2) units;
- aircraft – 329 units;
- helicopters – 324 units;
- UAVs of operational-tactical level – 6657 (+66) units;
- cruise missiles – 1709 units;
- ships/boats – 23 units;
- submarines – 1 unit;
- automotive equipment and tank trucks – 11330 (+38) units;
- special equipment – 1277 (+9) units.
