Sales of the new generation of Volkswagen Passat with the B9 index have begun in Ukraine. For the first time in the history of the model, the car is available exclusively with a station wagon body called Variant.
RBC-Ukraine reports this with reference to the company’s press service.
The new business-class station wagon became the first Volkswagen in Ukraine, which received at its disposal a 1.5 eTSI petrol engine in combination with a 7-speed DSG gearbox. Also, 2.0 TDI and 2.0 TSI engines will be available for it, with a capacity of 150 hp and 204 hp, respectively.
On the Ukrainian market, the German car will be presented in two trim levels: Business and Elegance. The Business version already includes such options as adaptive cruise control, diode optics, three-zone climate control, electric trunk lid, etc. Prices for the car start at UAH 1,669,583.
The Elegance version also adds matrix optics, a 360-degree camera, sports seats, heated rear seats and windshield, etc. Prices for the top version start at UAH 1,880,470. Interestingly, both modifications can be ordered with all powertrain options.
