Next week, the Ukrainian and US delegations will meet in Saudi Arabia. Today, the most intensive work with the team of US President Donald Trump has been going on all day at various levels.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the evening address of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“And next week there will be a lot of work here in Europe, with America, in Saudi Arabia – we are preparing a meeting to speed up peace and make the foundations of security strong. Today, the most intensive work with President Trump's team at all times continues at various levels – many calls,” Zelensky said.
According to him, “the theme (of the negotiations – ed.) is clear – peace as quickly as possible, security as reliable as possible.”
“Ukraine is in the most constructive mood possible,” the president emphasized.
Ukraine and the US meet in Saudi Arabia
Let us recall that next week, delegations from Ukraine and the United States will meet in Saudi Arabia. The parties are resuming negotiations after a dispute between Presidents Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump in the White House.
On the agenda is the future of bilateral relations, the path to ending the war and the possible signing of a minerals agreement.
According to RBC-Ukraine sources, the Ukrainian delegation at the talks will be headed by the head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak. Western media also wrote that the meeting will be attended by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov.
The American side will be represented by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, US Special Presidential Envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff and US National Security Advisor Mike Waltz.
