Over the past 24 hours, from March 17 to 18, the Russian invaders' troops lost 1,560 soldiers, 20 armored combat vehicles and 3 air defense systems in the war against Ukraine.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy's total combat losses from 24.02.22 to 18.03.25 were approximately:
- personnel – about 897,010 (+1,560) people eliminated;
- tanks – 10,352 (+8) units;
- combat armored vehicles – 21,509 (+20) units;
- artillery systems – 24,640 (+42) units;
- MLRS – 1319 (+1) units;
- air defense systems – 1107 (+3) units;
- aircraft – 370 units;
- helicopters – 331 units;
- Operational-tactical level UAVs – 29,616 (+149) units;
- cruise missiles – 3121 units;
- ships/boats – 28 units;
- submarines – 1 unit;
- automotive equipment and tank trucks – 40,892 (+107) units;
- special equipment – 3780 (+2) units.
The situation at the front and Russian air attacks
According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the Defence Forces had success in the Toretsk area, but the Russian invaders advanced near Velyka Novosilka and in the Zaporizhia region.
Last night, Russian terrorists again attacked Ukraine with kamikaze drones “Shahed”. Air raid sirens were declared in many regions.
In particular, explosions were heard in the area of the city of Cherkassy and in the Cherkassy region.
The day before, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the successful testing of a Ukrainian drone, which is capable of striking at a range of 3 thousand kilometers.
