This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to US Presidential Aide Dan Scavino on the social network X.
“President Trump in the Oval Office talking with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky,” Scavino wrote.
He did not specify when exactly the conversation began. Earlier, the media reported that the talks were scheduled to begin at 16:00.
The information that negotiations are already underway was confirmed to journalists by the press secretary of the President of Ukraine, Sergei Nikiforov.
Zelensky and Trump talks
Recall that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced his talks with US President Donald Trump this morning. The two leaders are expected to discuss Trump's phone call with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
