The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has granted permission to NEQSOL Holding to acquire “Titan Ukraine” LLC, a company that is part of the asset complex of the Joint Stock Company “United Mining and Chemical Company” (OGHC), which is undergoing bankruptcy proceedings, reports Baltimore Chronicle with reference to the AMCU press servicе.
According to official information, the clearance for concentration was granted on May 23. It concerns the transfer of control over “Titan Ukraine” LLC to Nasart Management Limited, a company owned by NEQSOL Holding — an international group with assets in the energy, telecommunications, and technology sectors, operating in the United Kingdom, United States, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, the UAE, Pakistan, and Ukraine.
“Titan Ukraine” LLC was established within the framework of OGHC’s bankruptcy procedure. The entity was officially registered in December 2023, with arbitration manager Dmytro Manko appointed to oversee operations. The company’s main asset is the Irshansk Mining and Processing Plant, located in the Zhytomyr region.
NEQSOL Holding became the sole bidder for this asset, having submitted an official offer. The value of the transaction has not yet been disclosed. It is known that in September 2023, the State Property Fund of Ukraine announced its intention to conduct a transparent sale of OGHC’s titanium assets, which at the time were in a restructuring phase. In January 2024, the titanium-related assets of OGHC were transferred to the balance sheet of “Titan Ukraine” LLC in preparation for privatization.
The acquisition of “Titan Ukraine” LLC marks another step in NEQSOL Holding’s business expansion in Ukraine. In December 2023, the company finalized the acquisition of the telecommunications group Vodafone Ukraine.
