Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed two decrees introducing sanctions. The first decree, No. 613/2025, synchronizes Ukrainian sanctions with Canada’s sanctions, which target 139 individuals and legal entities involved in supporting Russia’s war efforts. These restrictions were introduced as part of the fight against Russian aggression, reports Baltimore Chronicle.

The second decree, No. 612/2025, introduces sanctions against 28 individuals who assist Russia in maintaining the occupation regime and financing its aggressive actions. Among the individuals targeted by these sanctions are citizens of Russia, Ukraine, and Iran. According to the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, they are directly involved in supporting the Russian government. Zelensky emphasized the importance of cooperation with law enforcement agencies in partner countries to ensure accountability for those aiding the aggressor.

The Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine provided a list of some individuals affected by the sanctions, including: Kiryii Olha Adol’fiivna, Mykhailovska Anastasiya Leonidivna, Zhylidov Yevhen Mykhailovych, and others. The sanctions include asset freezing, restrictions on property use, and limits on economic activities for those supporting the aggressor, aiming to substantially reduce their influence on Ukraine’s economic and informational space.
