Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers allows men aged 18–22 to cross the border freely during martial law, Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko confirmed.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on August 26 approved changes to border-crossing regulations. From now on, male citizens aged 18 to 22 are allowed to leave the country without restrictions during martial law, reports the Baltimore Chronicle citing the official government announcement.

Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko confirmed that the new provisions apply to all men in this age group. She emphasized that the decision covers every citizen who meets the specified criteria.

The updated regulations took effect immediately after adoption and are intended to regulate border-crossing rules for this category of citizens during the ongoing martial law.
