Starting in September, McDonald’s restaurants will launch a new global campaign — Happy Meals will feature collectible TinyTAN figures, inspired by the members of the popular group BTS. The project will cover many countries, including Ukraine, reports Baltimore Chronicle citing the company’s official statement.
McDonald’s confirmed that the campaign will begin in South Korea in mid-September 2025. After the launch, the promotion will gradually expand to other countries, with rollout dates varying by market.
The Happy Meal, which traditionally includes a burger, fries, a drink, and a toy, will now come with TinyTAN figures. These miniature characters have already become iconic among K-pop fans and are considered some of the most popular collectibles connected with BTS.
This is the second major collaboration between McDonald’s and BTS. Back in 2021, the chain introduced The BTS Set, which included chicken nuggets, fries, a drink, and the idols’ favorite Cajun and Sweet Chili sauces. That campaign achieved record-breaking sales in South Korea and received global attention.
A McDonald’s spokesperson stated that the new TinyTAN toys will be available in Happy Meals starting in the middle of next month. The announcement has already sparked lively discussions among ARMY worldwide, as many fans anticipate reliving the excitement of the 2021 collaboration, this time with collectible gifts.
