The Ministry of Health reports this, Ukrinform reports.

“Ultra-modern equipment has already been installed, and doctors have been trained to use the systems when diagnosing patients. Artificial intelligence carries out automatic analysis by reading X-rays and reflects areas of potential pathology in the form of a heat map of the lungs, which allows identifying the smallest areas of damage,” the message says.

The Ministry of Health noted that the Lviv and Sumy regions received equipment under projects of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, the Ivano-Frankivsk region – from a Japanese manufacturer.

The Ministry of Health noted that artificial intelligence for automated processing of diagnostic data is successfully used in more than 40 countries around the world.
