South Korea transferred 10 ambulances to Ukraine

Photo The government of South Korea handed over 10 emergency medical vehicles to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

Health Minister Viktor Lyashko wrote about this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"Another 10 ambulances were received from the Korean government. In total, Korea plans to transfer 100 cars to Ukraine. Last December, we already received 30 ambulances, and we are expecting another batch in March of this year,” Lyashko wrote.

As the minister noted, over almost two years of full-scale war, Russian invaders damaged 103 emergency medical vehicles, destroyed 258 and another 125 were captured. As reported, at the beginning of February 2024, departmental health care institutions received 14 new ambulances, which were purchased by order of the Ministry of Health. They were purchased by Medical Procurement of Ukraine for donor funds collected within the framework of the initiative of the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky “UNITED24”.
