Video Austrian diplomats handed over to the children's hospital « Ohmatdyt” certificate for 625 thousand hryvnia to perform operations on children with brain cancer.
The Austrian Embassy in Ukraine reported this in a Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
«Deputy Ambassador of Austria to Ukraine Anna-Maria Steiner, Embassy attache for social policy and health Martin Mühlbacher and representatives of the Respublika Park shopping center visited the NDSL “Okhmatdet” and handed over a certificate for 625 thousand hryvnia for operations on children – wards of the charity foundation “Tabletochki” who are fighting brain cancer, they informed at the diplomatic mission.
The embassy noted that the Okhmatdyt hospital has long been a special focus of Austrian support at various levels, including in the private sector.
As Ukrinform reported, the president of the National Council of Austria Wolfgang Sobotka recently announced his country’s readiness to lead an international coalition to provide humanitarian assistance to Ukraine.
