In Ukraine, more than 870 medical facilities damaged as a result of shelling have been fully or partially restored

In Ukraine, 871 medical facilities that were damaged as a result of shelling by Russian troops have been fully or partially restored.

The Ministry of Health reports this, Ukrinform reports.

«For more than 25 months, 871 medical facilities have been fully or partially restored in different regions of Ukraine. In particular, 513 objects were fully restored and another 358 were partially restored. More – in the Nikolaev, Dnepropetrovsk, Kiev, Kharkov and Chernihiv regions, the report says.

The Ministry of Health notes that in total during this time the enemy damaged 1,554 medical facilities, another 205 facilities were completely destroyed and cannot be restored.

The greatest losses were suffered by medical institutions in the Kharkov, Donetsk, Dnepropetrovsk, Nikolaev, Kherson, Zaporozhye, Kiev and Chernigov regions.

In addition, the Russian army destroyed 260 emergency medical vehicles, damaged 150 and more 125 captured.

As reported, in the Nikolaev region, the regional ophthalmological hospital, damaged as a result of shelling in the spring of 2022, has been restored.
