Photo The third rehabilitation center for wounded military personnel of the national Recovery network has been opened in Dnipro.
The Ministry of Health reports this, Ukrinform reports.
«An ultra-modern rehabilitation center for wounded military personnel has begun work in Dnipro. This is already the 11th center of the national Recovery network. Every year, more than 700 defenders and defenders of Ukraine will be able to receive high-quality, evidence-based and free rehabilitation services here,” the message says.
As noted, a multidisciplinary team of doctors, including specialists in physical rehabilitation medicine, physical therapists, occupational therapists, massage therapists, speech and language therapists, psychologists and others, will restore the wounded defenders. According to the needs of the wounded, such a team can be replenished with other specialists.
The center has a physical therapy room, psychological support, occupational therapy, rooms for medical staff and other office space.
Project Recovery focuses on the following areas: creating a national network of rehabilitation centers for wounded military personnel; rehabilitation of military personnel in private partner medical clinics; sending seriously wounded military personnel abroad for complex prosthetics; educational programs of international level for medical specialists.
All rehabilitation services are free of charge for all patients and are fully covered by the NHSU as part of the medical guarantee program. Citizens of Ukraine have the right to receive the necessary rehabilitation services in full, regardless of from the reasons that led to the need for rehabilitation, as well as war veterans, war participants, combatants and persons equivalent to them.
As Ukrinform reported, for 2023 and the beginning of 2024 The electronic health system has generated 1.6 million e-referrals for rehabilitation.
