The First TMO of Lviv reports this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
“The administration of St. Panteleimon Hospital is interested in ensuring that patients have information regarding the services provided by our health care facility under the Medical Assurance Program. And of course, the information that the project ambassadors will analyze based on the results of the patient survey will be valuable for us… This project is an opportunity to get an objective assessment of our work and, if necessary, improve it, – noted hospital director Julian Golik.
Patient representatives – these are active citizens who have completed a training course from the National Health Service and project partners on general issues of providing medical services. They will inform patients about the list of free services and the conditions for receiving them, as well as help in case of violation of rights, record patient reviews and monitor the processes of care in the medical institution.
To use the assistance of project representatives, you should go to the stand with the “Patient Representative” badge. Specialists will work on weekdays from 9:00 to 15:00.
Patient Representative Pilot Initiative is a joint project of the NHSU and the HONEST Movement, implemented with the support of the Ministry of Health, the World Bank and the Swiss Embassy in Ukraine. The project is being implemented in five medical institutions in Ukraine, two of which are in Lviv.
