Another 50 generators will be delivered to medical institutions

To institutions Healthcare will deliver 50 more generators in case of a power outage.

The Ministry of Health reports this, reports Ukrinform.

«Ukrainian healthcare institutions will receive another 50 generators with a capacity of 10.8-240 kW for full and uninterrupted operation in case of possible power outages. We are talking about hospitals, outpatient clinics, primary health care centers, a disease control and prevention center, a blood service center, a dispensary, etc.,” the message says.

The equipment was purchased as part of a general project Ministry of Health” of Ukraine and the World Bank “Emergency response to COVID-19 and vaccination in Ukraine.”

Generators will be distributed to Rivne, Khmelnitsky, Lviv, Kharkov, Ivano-Frankivsk, Cherkassy, ​​Chernivtsi, Dnipropetrovsk regions and the city of Kiev.

According to the Ministry of Health, the process of supplying equipment continues in accordance with the current needs of each region.

As reported, according to the Ministry of Health, medical institutions in Ukraine have 11,139 generators for uninterrupted operation , which will be triggered automatically in case of an emergency.
